A vampire is a type of demon that feeds off of a creature's lifeforc (blood, energy, etc...) for sustenance. It is usually a reanimated corpse of a person who had sinned in some way during their lifetime, or had been buried outside of the proper religious traditions. The most famous vampire is Dracula, "Vlad the Impaler" who lived in Transylvania (although connections between vampirism and Vlad Tepes have been disproven by scholars of the subject, it is still a popular connection), he comes from the Bram Stoker book of the same name.
